Tailored for aspiring perfumers, evaluators, and marketing professionals in
the perfumery industry, The Art and Technology of Perfumery workshops will
let you explore the intricate world of perfumery as we delve into the minds
of perfumers. Learn how each note is meticulously chosen to convey a
specific idea, unraveling the essence of fragrance creation.
No prior chemistry or perfumery background is required—our approach ensures accessibility for all.
The workshops are also popular with business owners, Aromatherapists, and aroma chemists but their approach is such that even complete beginners with little or no chemistry or perfumery background at all can follow them.Comprehensive and personalized Training
Our workshops offer one of the most comprehensive and intensive learning experiences in the industry and not for the faint at heart. No secrets withheld; if we know it, you'll know it too. Participants are likely to learn more in 5 full days than they will learn working in a perfumery house for a year or more. Because these classes form a semi-private tuition format your personal objectives can be targeted very well during the training. Our mission is to accelerate your learning curve, condensing what would typically take three years into just one. Prepare to absorb more knowledge in a few days than you would working in a perfumery house for a year. A unique interactive, learning-by-doing method of training. Each subject starts at the beginning and goes to a high level in easy-to-follow stages. No matter what your level is when you start, whether a complete newbie or a PhD with 30 years experience in the industry you will progress exponentially. How ?
- The training is unique in that it uses a quite revolutionary and systematic method we call The ABC's of Perfumery. The ABC's of Perfumery is very easy to learn and the most powerful tool to date for describing and classifying smells. It was published in May/June 1999 issue of Perfumer &Flavors, the foremost journal in the perfumery and flavor industry.
- Traditional training methods focus on learning from a BOTTOM to TOP approach (learn materials > build accords > create perfumes) The PerfumersWorld Method starts with an objective-driven method TOP to BOTTOM (perfume objective > building blocks required > identify raw materials) It's crazy fast!
