Her work closely ties her to new brand owners, aiding them in conceptualization, prototype development, and analytical and manufacturing services, propelling their small starts toward growth.
Her expertise also extends to teaching and certifying trainees through PerfumersWorld school, using their distinctive perfumery teaching method, The ABC’s of Perfumery. Amira’s has taught and co-taught PW courses since 2016 in Dubai, Kuwait, and Thailand, where she Her students, diverse in roles from brand owners to industry enthusiasts and bloggers, stand as a testament to her impact.

About the founder
Amira El Aasar, a perfumer and industry consultant renowned in the Gulf, and Middle East region, has an inspiring journey. Her fascination with fragrances and scents started at a young age; as a child, she collected perfume bottles, nurturing her love for the art. The pivotal moment came at 15 when Amira read about ISIPCA (Institut supérieur international du parfum, de la cosmétique et de l’aromatique alimentaire) in one of her mother’s magazines. She declared her desire to become a perfumer and study there, though practicality posed challenges.
Amira’s parents leaned towards a medical or software engineering path, akin to her father’s and brother’s professions. Despite studying Computer Science at the American University in Cairo and working in IT, her passion for perfumery endured. The discovery of PerfumersWorld school rekindled her enthusiasm, leading her to contact them to provide courses in the Middle East. Fate presented an incredible opportunity: becoming PerfumersWorld’s exclusive Middle East agent, a role she embraced wholeheartedly.
